What type of bulbs will it work with?The Bulb Grabber will work with all standard base bulbs ranging from 1 ¾” to 5” including CFL’s.

What does Dual Action Mechanism mean?Dual action means you can open the fingers to grab a bulb from the top and bottom end of the device.

How long does it extend?The Bulb Grabber has a 3-part extension and expands up to 11 feet.

Is it safe to use with a live electrical current?Yes, the Bulb Grabber is primarily made of plastic and non-conductive. However, we always recommend turning off power or circuits to avoid any potential issues.

Why is it so difficult to pull down on the handle?In order for the Bulb Grabber to have the required grip force to hold and turn bulbs the tension created by the internal mechanism is necessary to be set to this level. We recommend setting the device on the floor when pulling down on the upper mechanism which creates additional leverage and makes it easier to operate when loading and unloading bulbs.

Can it be used indoors and outdoors?Yes the Bulb Grabber can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Can the Bulb Grabber be used to extract broken bulbs?We do make a broken bulb extractor and that can be purchased separately via our website.

What is the Bulb Grabber made of?The housing of the Bulb Grabber is primarily made of plastic and steel tubes.

What is the sound I hear when I pull down on the handle?The mechanism that opens and closes the fingers will make some sound when the fingers are expanded and contracted and also when the pole is extended or contracted. This is a normal operating sound and nothing to worry about.

Will it work on ceiling fan lights?As long as the physical light bulbs are accessible from the ground and you have enough room based on the angle of the bulbs to access them you should be able to use the Bulb Grabber to remove and replace light bulbs in your ceiling fan.
